Day 4

Today was so much fun (but also very busy and tiring...) I got to meet so man influential people! I was picked up from my house by a reporter at 8:00 am, ready for my day to start. We then drove to Fort Worth for the Annual Shareholders Meeting for Radioshack. I listened in and met many people during this meeting who were very gracious and kind.

I returned to the office at about 11:00 am and ate lunch with reporters who gave me some advice for writing, school, and and my future. I then returned upstairs to the Business section where I preceded to make more "did not say" calls and business calendar fact checks. I was then brought to an editor's meeting at 3:30 pm where the Sunday paper was planned and talked about. I loved being a part of their conversations! 

One of the most interesting and thought provoking parts of my internship was spent after the meeting at about 4:00 pm where I learned about the Dallas Morning News iPad app with the creators. I personally would not want to be in the technology field, such as creating apps, but it was extremely interesting to watch them create pages and fix glitches on the app with their own computers right in front of me. I learned about code and what entails someone to do what they did.

My day ended with more phone calls and I left the office at 5:00 pm.
